MCF Fall Grant Cylce
The Marietta Community Foundation has announced that it has awarded 123,000 dollars in its 2024 Fall Grant Cycle. These grants will support nonprofit organizations across Washington County. The grants will be funded through the Community Impact Fund and supported by contributions from the Foundation's fund holders. They are designed to address immediate needs, enhance community service, and make strategic investments that promote long-term growth and well-being in the community. Some of the grants included 20,000 dollars to the Memorial Health Foundation in part of a multi-year grant of 100,000 dollars distributed over five years to support building the Women's and Children's Hospital in Belpre. The Washington County Homeless Project will receive a 15,000-dollar grant to support the winter operations of the Drop-In Center, which provides food, clothing, and referrals to homeless individuals. These were just two of the 15 Community Impact grants rewarded in the cycle.
