Mid-Ohio Valley Public Pools Open for the Summer
Summer is here, and that means that public swimming pools are open for the season. WMOA spoke with three different pools in the Mid-Ohio Valley for more information. Stephanie Greene, the owner of Rescue Ready Management, shared that the Aquatic Center is open Saturday through Thursday from 12 PM to 7 PM. Friday night, they are open from 12 PM to 8 PM. "We have, uh, the slides, we have the boat, we have a lot of open swim time now, and we're starting our, uh, morning lap swim for adults on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And then our big fan favorite is our family night happening on Friday from six to eight, which is everybody's favorite 'cause then there's all different activities for that." The Devola Pool is open from 12 PM to 7 PM. Elizabeth Miller, the pool manager, shares a couple of favorites amongst the facilities. "We also have a little basketball hoop, and the kids love to play basketball. I would say the diving boards are their most favorite thing to do." The Beverly-Waterford Community Pool is open Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 5 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Meredith Wagner, the pool manager, shares more. "One of our highest-rated functions is our slide. Um, it's about a 20-foot water slide that goes into our deepest end of the pool. Um, and then we have a zero entry, which is a family favorite for the younger children." The public pools remind the community to come out, support, and enjoy their facilities this summer.
