Keys for a cause will take place on Friday, June 5th, at the Blennerhasset hotel. Doors will open at 5:30 PM for the reception, and the event will start at 6:30 PM. Lauren Luther, the events and partnerships manager for Recovery Point WV, shares more with WMOA. 

"It is specifically supporting our men's facility in Parkersburg. So we offer, um, long-term residential treatment to people who suffer from substance use disorder at no cost to them. So that's what makes our centers great, you know, so we are very grateful to be able to do that, and we rely heavily on fundraisers and donations."

The deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, June 4th, at midnight. Regular prices are $60.00. However, tickets can be donated so clients can attend. Luther explains this further.

"Those tickets are, I believe, discounted at $55, but they can go to recoverypointwv.org."

Recovery Point has already received positive feedback.

"People are like, "We haven't heard of anything like this before." Like, you know, "What is a dueling piano show?" It is a high-energy performance by two men at a piano. Our performers are piano maniacs, so um, you can look them up and see their performance and see if it's something that you might be interested in. But it is something different to be brought to the community."

"We have Cincinnati Reds tickets. We have the Banana Bowl tickets, if you've ever heard of that. We also have a few different, like, music bundles, a lot of great prizes, um, great items."

Luther says they are grateful for the support and anything that helps continue services at no cost to individuals.
