MHS Award Dinner Canceled
Posted on: 07/07/2020
Memorial Health System typically recognizes the service of their dedicated employees with a recognition dinner, but with the Coronavirus pandemic, the annual event had to be cancelled. The local health system has plans instead to honor the team members in other ways.
Recent retirees will be honored this year and employees who have worked with the system for five years and increments of five years will be honored all the way up to 40 years of service. Memorial Health says 161 individuals in the 25 year club and 12 Fenton Award Recipients will be recognized this year.
Approximately 350 others will be recognized between 5 and 40 years of service.
President and CEO of Memorial Health Scott Cantlay says the annual awards dinner and program gives the system a chance to celebrate anniversary milestones of employees and thank them for delivering excellent care in the community.
