Marietta, Ohio- Conveyance charges were handed down after the Washington County Sheriff's Office made a recent arrest. A 19-year-old Marietta resident named Jeffrey Peer was reportedly taken to jail in the early morning hours of November 5th.
The report says Peer was about to be placed in a body scanner when he left a piece of paper on a chair. The report says the paper came from his shirt pocket. The paper, according to the reports, contained a crystal substance. Peer told the officer that he obtained the paper from the booking officer with his PIN number on it.
Review of video was conducted and showed peer swallowing an unknown item and concealing another from his waistband in his pocket. Peer met with a deputy and stated that he did not remember getting arrested and does not know how the "Probably Meth" got into his sock. The suspected drugs weighted .28 grams.
