Congressman Bill Johnson talks House Bill 1056
28 bills are included in the agenda called the Boosting Broadband Connectivity Agenda. It is expected to turbocharge public and private investment by promoting new and upgraded infrastructure deployments and streamline the permitting process.
Johnson says the reintroduction of the act will remove the requirement to prepare an environmental or historic preservation review in order to add new or upgrade wireless facilities on existing infrastructure.
The Congressman is calling on the house to take up the important legislation and vote on it.
