Needle found in Halloween candy

Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in Lowell, Ohio Monday. Reports from the office say that a parent located a sewing needle inside of an individually wrapped piece of candy. 
 
 
The KitKat bar is pictured on the Sheriff's Office Facebook page and website. The sheriff's office is reminding everyone to be aware of this type of evil act and check all candy before allowing anyone in the house to eat it. 
 
 
The sheriff's office is also asking everyone to share the information with their peers in person and online.

The sheriff's office released information about a needle that was allegedly found in a candy bar.
