Washington County, OH- Buckeye Hills Regional Council, in collaboration with Washington County JFS and the County Home, will be announcing a new partnership with California-based software company HealthJay Inc.
HealthJay caters to a growing adult population, deliver easy-to-use features for members in centers as well as those staying at home. Its signature product- The JayPad- allows members to participate in group video classes and activities, receive timely reminders, make safe private social audio and video calls (including group calls), and to get help from Care Circles. All this is achieved with simple button presses or by using the integrated Chatbot with voice commands, according to JayPad Incorporated. The JayPad has enhanced accessibility features including Bluetooth hearing aid plug-in, big buttons, color-coded interface, large fonts, and voice to text for users.
This partnership will help address social isolation and the workforce shortage in senior care in the region. It is said to help put Marietta on the map as one of the early adopters in the country to use smart technology for hybrid delivery of senior care. The CEO of HealthJay will be onsite for the event.,
