Thanksgiving travel projections

AAA projects 53.4 million travelers will be congesting roadways following Thanksgiving gatherings. Congested streets and highways are to be expected this afternoon. Experts say the best time to travel is before noon today. Travel numbers are back winthin 5% of pre-pandemic levels in 2019. 
 
Automobile travel this year was up 8%, Air Travel was up 83%. 
 

It's not just Thanksgiving return travelers either. Today is Black Friday and those out shopping today will be running into traffic too.
