Marietta College President Dr. Bill Ruud said recently that the college is committed to causing student success.  A new program being unveiled for the fall of 2022 semester will help ensure that new first year and transfer students are ready to start accomplishing their academic goals by the time they take their first course.

Dr. Ruud also said that the college is excited to announce that they will be providing a new laptop computer to all first-year freshman and first year transfer students.

The new laptop program according to the college is funded by an anonymous donor and takes some burden off of new students who may not have a laptop or have an outdated one.
