(MARIETTA, OH) - A man who broke into Turner's 1 Stop Shop in Waterford in July 2014 has been sentenced by the Washington County Common Pleas Court on a fifth-degree felony breaking and entering charge, tacking a year onto an already lengthy time he's set to spend in prison.

Judge Ed Lane sentenced 43-year-old Jerry L. Noble of Guysville to 12 months in prison, which he will serve consecutively with his current eight-year sentence at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient.

Noble stole $8000 from the Waterford gas station on Independence Day last year, and was indicted on his charge in January.

He was also sentenced on a felonious assault charge in Athens in April in connection with a stabbing, according to The Marietta Times.
Court records show Noble has numerous convictions from violent crimes in the 1990s.
