Sports is truly the centerpiece of WMOA's programming. AM 1490 broadcasts more than 300 live sporting events per year! These range from Marietta High School to the pros. Regular broadcasts include the 7:50 Morning Sports and at Noon with Johnny Wharff.  
Plus the hourly sports from ABC Sports.
 
AM 1490 broadcasts all Marietta High School Tigers football and basketball games, along with a full slate of other high school athletics. Marietta College baseball is heard exclusively on WMOA. The Pioneers are the nation's winningest NCAA Division III baseball program. In addition, WMOA airs a schedule of Marietta College football and men's and women's basketball contests. WMOA is the Cincinnati Reds baseball network's longest continuous affiliate and has carried Ohio State football and basketball for most of the past 55 years
 
 
 
 

MOV Restaurant Week Kicks Off Feb. 27

The inaugural Mid-Ohio Valley Restaurant Week kicks off February 27, with 13 local restaurants participating. The event, which runs through March 4, encourages locals and visitors alike to enjoy a great culinary experience, visit an old favorite, or find a new hidden gem, all while supporting local businesses.

 

Tommy Dorsey Orchestra Comes to Marietta Friday

People's Bank Theatre will feature a throwback to the Big Band era this Friday night, as the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra comes to town!
