MARIETTA, Ohio (September 26, 2016) - The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley's Foster Program is always in need of foster homes, and that doesn't have to be a long-term commitment. Often, the non-profit needs short-term care for a dog or cat awaiting transport. Pregnant and nursing animals also benefit from a real-home environment.

If you can offer a temporary home for a dog or cat, please complete a foster application which can be found on the organization's website at hsov.org or you can pick one up at the shelter. The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley provides all food, necessary supplies and medical care for those fostering animals.
