Special Deer Hunts

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources has announced a special deer hunt at six nature reserves across the state. Officials have stated that they are allowing the hunts due to a mass increase in the deer population, which can wreak havoc on plant life.
 
The six locations where these hunts will be permitted include . . .
 
  • Blackhand Gorge
  • Gallagher Fen
  • Goll Woods
  • Sheepskin Hollow
  • Lawrence Woods
  • Lake Katherine State Nature Preserves
