After two years of investigation, a large drug bust involving five Ohio counties took place this morning (September 14th 2017) resulting in eleven arrests.

Eleven individuals were arrested on the morning of September 14th 2017. Additional charges toward the eleven individuals are being anticipated after the next session of the Morgan County Grand Jury.
Morgan County Prsoecuting Attorney Mark Howdyshell is leading the prosecuting team with assistance from the Office of the Morgan County Sheriff Doug McGrath. Washington County Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Rings is also supplying attorneys according to the Washington County Sheriff's website.
The 11 people arrested range in age from 27-74 with charges ranging from trafficking in heorine, cocaine, marijuana and prescription pills.

Washintgton County Sheriff Larry Mincks said during Thursday's press conference that he believes that local authorities can handle the investigation without the need for taking the case to a Federal level.
