Marietta College Coronavirus Data

Marietta, Ohio- After the Ohio National Guard stopped in to Marietta College last Wednesday, the Campus Covid-19 numbers saw an increase.  As reported last week, Marietta College will be welcoming back the Ohio National Guard for the next Four Wednesdays, with the later two visits aimed to test Marietta Residents rather than just the college population. 
 

Currently, Marietta College is reporting 12 active cases, and five recovered cases.  Cases in quarantine include both students and employees, that number is 96. 
 

Marietta College is also active in Contact Tracing.  Protocols have been established for evaluating individuals who have symptoms of the virus.  In line with the protocols, the Marietta/Belpre Health Department oversees contact investigation and notification.  Those with close contact with those who have tested positive will be notified by the Marietta/Belpre Health Department.
