Marietta College Mailboxes

Marietta, Ohio- Gilman Hall is being renovated and the historic mailbox doors are being offered for purchase.  Proceeds will be going to the Student Aid Fund that provides tuition support for students in need. 
 
 
The college says that dozens of Pioneers have shared the same mailbox over the years and they are being offered up in a silent auction style.  Bids will start at 40 dollars.  Winners will receive their door mounted on an what is described as an attractive plaque for easy display. 
 
 
MC says everything will be delivered by February 14th and will include an electronic certificate confirming the purchase.  Bidding closes on Friday at noon.
