Belpre, Ohio- In late December 2020, the Washington County Sheriff's Office investigated a theft from Congress Road in Belpre.  A Honeywell Safe was located in a ditch near the area along with a BB gun.  The safe reportedly had stickers on the surface.  It was pried open and empty.

Charges were filed in the theft investigation, however; the Sheriff's Office is still active in trying to find the owner of the safe and the BB gun.

If any information is available, you are asked to contact the Sheriff's Office.  Anonymous tips can be left on the Sheriff's Office website.
