MARIETTA, Ohio- A warrant was served to a Dustin Carpenter March 19. The 29-year-old Marietta Resident was said to be at a residence on Tennis Center Drive.  A deputy with the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to the area.  Reports say Carpenter left the area and began walking toward Pike Street. Contact was made and a search of his clothing revealed a small bag containing a white crystal substance. 
 
 
Carpenter allegedly admitted that it was methamphetamine and admitted to having four needles in the bag he was carrying.  Carpenter was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs, probation violation, possessing drug abuse instruments, obstructing official business and contempt of court. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
