Dr. Carole Hancock joins WSCC board of directors
After 43 years of teaching, Dr. Hancock retired in 2018. WSCC reports that for the first 17 years of her career, she spent time teaching Title 1 reading to first and third grade students at Fort Frye.
Dr. Hancock said her desire to join the board was influenced by her employment at the college between 1992 and 2011. At Washington State she reportedly taught and led the Department of Social and Behavioral Science and Public Service. She added that she is aware of the needs at Washington State and that the needs have not diminished.
Amanda Herb the President of Institutional Advancement says, "Dr. Hancock brings a true passion for the mission of the college."
