Marietta Main Street has hung the flowers on lampposts for years and over time, Main Street says, the downtown district has grown with new businesses and programs. The flower program has grown too. Now 350 flower baskets will be installed throughout the commercials district.

Here in 2021, a fundraising goal has been set at 20,000 dollars.  This will help fund the baskets and the six hours per day of labor that goes into the care.  This includes watering and maintenance all managed by Jay Huck and his team at Huck Greenhouses.

The non-profit says this year's flower basket sponsorships are 75 dollars and the option to contribute an additional 25 dollars as a donation is available too.  This will go to Marietta Main Street's mission to continue revitalizing downtown.

Flower baskets can be sponsored in honor of or in memory of anyone of the sponsor's choosing.  The deadline to sponsor lampposts is Friday May 7th.
