I-77 resurfacing and concrete repair project

MARIETTA, Ohio- The Ohio Department of Transportation says that a resurfacing and concrete joint repair project is taking place currently between exit 6 and 16. The Passing lane of I-77 north is closed. This section of road is expected to be completed by August 1st.
Coming up Monday another resurfacing project will start. This one will be between Exit 1 and Exit 6. The project is part of the ODOT project list costing more than 12 million dollars. Monday's start will include guardrail replacement, drainage correction and concrete barrier upgrades. The passing lanes of both I77 north and south will be closed. Estimated completion is June 4th.
Other projects included in the 12-million-dollar season is the City of Marietta Fiber Optic Upgrades, Landslides on State Route 60 and 821 and a bridge replacement project on State Route 555.
