Car crashes into Dime Bank building

A car crash occured at the corner of Second and Putnam today at 5:43 a.m. The driver of a Lincoln town car reportedly ran through a flashing red light and struck a Chevy sedan. After hitting the sedan, the Lincoln veered across Second street jumping the curb and striking a fence with air conditioning units at the Dime Bank building. Both cars were severely damaged.
 

The driver of the Lincoln was cited and taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the sedan was not injured.
