Fatal accident in Morgan County

A Morgan County crash left one dead Wednesday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Marietta Post. The crash took place around 3:15 a.m. and involved a late 90's Jeep Wrangler. 46-year-old stockport resident Tracy Herrick was reportedly driving southbound on Bald Eagle Road in Morgan County when the vehicle went off of the right side of the roadway and overturned on its side, ejecting the driver.
 
 
Reports indicate that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash which remains under investigation by the Marietta Post of the Patrol.
 
 
The Morgan County Sheriff's Office, Stockport Volunteer Fire and M&M EMS responded to the scene along with the patrol.
