Selby General recognized for Outstanding Patient Experience

Memorial Health announced that Selby General Hospital has been recognized among the top 10% of US hospitals for outstanding Patient Experience.
Healthgrades provided the stats and evaluated 3,297 hospitals that submitted at least 100 patient experience surveys. The 29-question survey focuses on patients' perspectives of their care in the hospital. Topics ranged from cleanliness and noise levels to medication explanations and staff responsiveness.
Medical Doctor and Chief Medical Officer with Healthgrades, Brad Bowman says the recipients of the Outstanding Patient Experience Award have consistently put patient experience front and center and have made it a priority within the organization.
Memorial Health CEO Scott Cantley says the honor is a result of exceptional experience the team creates for the patients and their families. He added that the recognition from Healthgrades confirms the commitment the team at Selby has to the community.
