James Sabolick was arrested on Saturday after a Marietta Police Patrol man stopped him while driving southbound on I77. As the patrolmen approached the vehicle he saw what he thought to be someone hiding in the back seat. When asked Sabolick denied that someone was hiding in the back.
After a search it was discovered that a West Virginia teen was in the back. Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force was then called to the scene. When being interviewed by investigators the teen told them she has snuck out to have sex with Sabolick five or more times and that he would pick her up and take her to a cabin in Washington county.
Sabolick is currently being held in the Washington County jail on a 51,000 dollar +PR bond.
