MARIETTA, OH- A bad check written to a Marietta Business turned into the Washington County Sheriff's Office requesting a warrant to arrest a Canton resident.

Reports go back to October 23rd when an Aalandiss Lynch arrived at Big Hometown Motorsports to purchase an ATV.  Reports say Lynch wrote a check for $9,243.87.  The business was unable to verify with the bank if the funds were available.

Reports from representatives say that Lynch arrived late in the day just before closing. The ATV was released to Lynch.

A certified letter was sent to Lynch to rectify a bad check in early November. On November 27th, the letter was returned to sender due to not being claimed.

After completing the investigation, the warrant was requested and issued out of Marietta Municipal Court on charges of a bad check and theft for 22 year old Canton resident Aalandiss  Lynch.
