Elevated fire risk

MARIETTA, OH- The National Weather Service says humidity is playing a factor in the elevated fire risk. Winds are moving around 15 miles per hour today with gusts around 25. The combination of low humidity and higher winds means there is an elevated fire risk. 
 
 
NWS along with the Washington County Sheriff's Office says to use extreme caution if you plan on burning later today. 
 
 
Ohio law states that burning is prohibited in the spring between 6am and 6pm between March 1st and May 31st
